I just picked up this book last Friday at the Lifeway bookstore. It is required reading for one of my courses and the Author, Gregg Allision, happens to be my Professor for the class. I'm still amazed at the level of scholarship that is present at this Seminary and humbled that I have the opportunity to attend here. Dr. Allision's book is designed to be a companion book to Wayne Grudem's Systematic Theology, which many of you may be familiar with. Grudem asked Dr. Allison 10 years ago if he would write this book as a companion to his. It may not be the next book you run down to the store to buy, but someone is buying it as it is already sold out at Amazon. I'm really happy at the success this book is having, because Dr. Allison is a great person, intense, funny, and with a Pastor's heart. Anyway, once I finish my reading it will be available in the FBC Library for you to view.
