I'm back in Louisville for my next class, which is "The History of the Baptist." In other words where and how did the denomination known as Southern Baptist originated, who were its heroes, leaders, and such? Who are the Southern Baptist and how does one define a Southern Baptist? Just some of the questions we will tackle in the next couple weeks. There was a mix-up on the syllabus and so just about everyone did not have there books purchased or had done any of the reading, so now we have 7 books to try to cover in the next several weeks. The Professor was at fault so he is taking it easy on us this week and delaying or maybe even canceling some of the quizzed we would normally have. You can see in the picture above the text books for this course in case you are interested. They all look very interesting and I hope I have time to do them justice and not just skim through them!
