Well, I'm back at Seminary after a few weeks off. Sorry for the time between posts. The last part of the spring semester was really busy and I just got out of the habit of posting, so what do you do when you fail? Get back up and try again! Thanks for you patience and I hope to get back on a regular schedule of posting again. Last semester ended well, I got everything done eventually and I am still waiting for one more grade, but I thought I did well for my first semester. There are a ton of things that happened and I may go back and share some of them, but for now I will focus on the present and the Summer classes that I have.
Summer (and Winter) classes (called J-Terms) are a lot different that those in regular full semesters. Basically they cram all of the lectures into a week period (Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm). You are responsible for reading outside of class and writing papers outside of class to be submitted later. I try to take some of the classes I am least interested in or those that are less critical this way. The classes I have this summer are Introduction to Missiology (study of Missions, the class I have now), History of the Baptist and Systematic Theology 3. The last two are both in July.
A short post I know, but will try to do something a little longer later in the week!
When you get some extra time (wink wink) I'd love to read a post all about your spiritual disciplines class!
ReplyDeleteI want to do that as well, so keep watching. Hope to share with the Sunday School class Dr. Whitney's teaching on Family Devotions as well.
