Dr. Gregg Allison |
Thursday was so nice, we had our Systematic Theology class outside. The area we are sitting in is between two buildings and while the view wasn't that great, the stairs and walls made for pretty good acoustics. It kind of threw all those who use laptops into a tizzy for a while (because the sun was so bright), but soon they learned to just relax and listen. The Professor speaking is Dr. Gregg Allison, who wrote the Historical Theology book I mentioned earlier. The subject this day was the incommunicable attributes of God. Incommunicable attributes of God are those that are unique to God and we as his creation do not share them, such as his immutable nature (unchanging), his omniscience, etc. Next are the communicable attributes of God which are those that we share with God having been made in his image, such as the ability to love, express joy, etc.
What a great place to study his attributes! :)
